Sainsburys Sets The Insurance Market Alight With 25% Discount
News that Sainsbury’s is offering a massive 25% discount for new customers who takeout both buildings and contents insurance with the supermarket giant has caught the eye of many on the streets. The move could literally save customers hundreds of pounds but it does close on the 6th October.
On top of the 25% insurance premium discount the group has also announced that those who apply online will still be eligible for the further 10% standard online saving taking the overall saving to some 35%. When you also add in the fact that the buildings policy offers unlimited cover and incorporates a no claims bonus which peaks at 40% this looks like being a very popular offer over the next few weeks.
A further £20 Sainsbury’s voucher, no extra charge for direct debit payments and access to a 24 hour helpline based in the UK also offers extra support for those who have maybe not even considered Sainsbury’s insurance arm. While Tesco insurance seems to grab much of the headlines in the mass market it looks as though the revival of the Sainsbury’s brand and the expanding of the group are very much ongoing.
